In and Out Inns was started by Jerry Brown and Fil Utting-Brown

Jerry Brown is a wine consultant and journalist and passed his W.S.E.T [wine spirit education trust] in the eighties. He runs Cambridge Fine Wine Tastings and writes features for Ale magazine, the Cambridge CAMRA publication, and for local publications.

Jerry’s lifelong experience in the wine industry and his links with the great and good of the wine world ensure that the finest wines are available at competitive prices to In and Out Inns.

His media expertise extends to fifteen years in broadcasting in local and international radio, from Cambridge to California and via B.B.C’s Radio Five on the way back.

Phil Utting- Brown is a child of the seventies and is still haunted by the spectre of keg beer and ghastly pop that dominated English drinking culture before the advent of CAMRA. Fil is determined that the variety and quality of drinks available to the drinking public need not be diminished to customers and guests of a mobile bar.

Phil’s love of the good stuff [check his initials!] is such that Yorkshire Brewers T & R Theakston hosted his wedding party – which included a brewery tour! Phil is a member of CAMRA Ely branch and contributor to the branch magazine Ely Isle Ale
